Currently, the average age of our citizens is 38, while the average elected official is in their early sixties. And no matter how you slice it, the American government is not reflective of its people.

To truly solve the problem of American gerontocracy, we need more young leaders who are committed to making change. We need to broaden young Americans’ understanding of the levers of power and give space for them to see themselves in leadership.
